. : Dillingham Airfield at Mokuleia

This area provides thrills for the adventurous and stout hearted. There is something challenging for everyone that likes to “live on the edge” periodically!

There are Top Gun Flights, tandem skydiving -- make your first parachute jump with a trained professional -- take a sailplane or glider ride over this beautiful portion of the North Shore.

Hawaii has some of the world’s most ideal and consistent soaring conditions -- experience a silent sailplane ride over this beautiful portion of the North Shore.

In addition, if you like to hike, suggest you take the Kealia Trail which goes from sea level to over 1,040 feet in a well graded ascent to the windward Waianae cliffs above Mokuleia which terminates high atop the mountains above Makua Valley. This 7 mi. hike is rated strenuous by the Sierra Club.

There is a challenging "mountain bike trail. You take the paved Mokuleia access road to the top of the Waianae cliffs. This mountain biked trail goes down a steep- -’advanced’- -trail to sea level, over a 1000 foot drop. One of our guests took this challenge and said it was lots of fun but it got quite steep and rugged- -had to walk his bike in several places on the way down! Please note ***Only competent advanced Mountain bikers should take this trail.***- -Sounds like work, to us oldies!
